blackarmor nas 440/420 reset admin password?

hi everyone,

 

I lost my passwords. If I reset the machine, will data (I configured raid5 and I have more then 1 tb data) be lost ?

 Can anyone help

alicanbulur -

 

The pinhole reset button on the NAS devices will reset the NAS back to factory defaults -  It will only reset the network configuration and resets the admin password back to it's original state.

 

It will not delete any created shares, or files that you have stored on the NAS already. 

 

Check your user manual for detailed information.
