I have a Seagate external hard disk connected by USB 2.0. It works ok. But when I tried to use Disc Wizard to restore the C drive from a tib file on the exterrnal drive, it stopped in the middle of the operation. Hung. It erased the whole C drive but did not restore anything to it. I believe the problem is somehow the way disc wizard accesses the USB. I tried several times in different ways, but it always hung.
My external drive is 3.5-Inch Pushbutton Backup 300-GB. Model ST3300601CB-RK.
Any ideas?
