Momentus XT, Momentus, Momentus Thin, MobileMax, and other notebook drives

I just bought two of these the other day, I had one of my hard drives go out and found these at best buy of all places, I installed them in raid 0 and had no issues until I started gaming and putting a load on the system.

Then I a start getting beeps from one of the hard drive.

I did update firmware on both and still have the issues anything I can do to fix this?

Gateway 7800 with updated proc and 4gigs Nvidia 9800 gts 1gig

I've just put in a replacement 500gig momentus and it does the same thing under sd24...its part of the design with the drive and seems to affect both pcs and macs - very annoying.

yeah it only does it when im running a bunch of cpu intensive programs

Same bip here with SD23. Nice job with the audio record btw.

I doesn't botther me because it is very rare (like once a day). Though I would like to know if I should worry or not about the health of the drive.
