I purchased a GoFlex Desk 3TB external drive recently and soon after realized I'd like to have the drive accessible on my home network through the router.
I bought a GoFlex net dock to connect the USB port of the GF Desk drive to and connected the GF Net to my router.
For some reason, I am unable to see the drive in Windows Explorer and unable to map the drive through the IP address shown on my router's config page.
Why would it not allow me to map the IP address of the GF Desk drive? Is the IP address for the Net dock and not the Desk drive? Is there something I need to change to allow such a configuration?
Thanks,
Kevin

Activate the drive using the pogoplug website. Then using the WFS setting, enable it for Windows File Sharing.
