Maxtor OneTouch III Mini and OS X 10.7/Lion incompatibility issue

Just upgraded my MacBook Pro to OS X 10.7/Lion and need to access/update my back up but seem the Maxtor OneTouch III Mini Edition is not compatible with the new OS. Something to do with not support PowerPC?

 

Appreciate any pointers as really need to access files on drive and ideally avoid buying a replacement!

I'm having similar issues after upgrading to OSx Lion. I have Blackarmor and when I launch the manager app I get the following error:

 

Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'launch path not accessible'.
