Replacement USB 3.0 cable - Seagate Expansion Portable

I am running on OS X 10.8.1 annd for a while my drive has worked (Expansion Portable) since I've partitioned it correctly, but as of late it has started to randomly disconnect or go unrecognized by my computer.

I was told that getting a replacement cable might work, and haven't received an answer as to what kind of cable to look for, and whether or not it would be 3rd party of available from Seagate.

So where might I find a replacement USB 3.0 cable for my Expansion drive?

You still have the old cable though right? You could take that into a computer parts store and ask for one the same.

But if you prefer shopping on-line then http://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-U326-003-Super-Device/dp/B003YNS0SY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=13478302...

(I guess if you're The Styg it's not easy just walking into a store:smileylol:)

Haha! Well, somone gets the reference! =D

Thanks a lot! I'll look around to see where the best deals are. So the drive should work with any USB 3.0 to Micro B cable?
