Maxtor Basics 500GB USB 2.0 External Desktop Hard Drive

I have a Maxtor Basics 500GB USB 2.0 External Desktop Hard Drive. I never had any problems with the hard drive until yesterday. My computer(s) do not reconize it anymore. I’ve tried changing USB cable without success.

Please try our external drive troubleshooter - http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/troubleshooting_assistance/

If the troubleshooter doesn't resolve your problem, could you please post the report from Microsoft's UVCView utility?
