Hello All!!!! Please can anyone help me with this majorly lame problem? I just purchased the Goflex Pro 500gb portable hardrive. With the intention of using it at a recording studio. We have both PC and Mac at the studio and need to transfer files between the two/back up files. This drive seemed to be the best option and value. The drive comes with NTFS which allows me (so i understand) to use both systems with no hassle. I installed the hard drive using the mac and pc option. This worked fine and it asked to restart (i am installing the drive on the mac first). So i restarted and the next step was to activate the NTFS. This is where i have a problem. I hit the activate now buttong and the message reads: "Activation failed. Check your internet connection and try again". This is bull. My internet connection works perfectly... Now i am using a wireless connection so i thought.. hmm why not try connection through cable...connects to the internet fine again but the same activation error message returns.....!!!!!!!!!
Is anyone else having the same problem?/? PLEASE HELPPP??
The biggest part of this silly problem is that the activation period apparently only lasts for 5 days. So i kind of have a time limit to sort this out :'(
