Problem with External HD

I have several files like old movies and photos on my 1TB Harddrive.  I also record my gameplay to upload on youtube.  About 3 days ago been having trouble with files on my harddrive not working right mainly the video files from my gameplay.  My old movies and photos open fine its just all the recent avi video files I put on are corrupted and open but wont play.  I tried recording my gameplay footage to my computers hard drvie and they open and work fine its just the files going to my external hard drive is the problem.

When I run a test under seagate dashboard the following comes up " This external drive requires service. If you havent recently backed up your data try to back it up now. "

I'm sorry to hear about your hard drive issues.

It would be good to test the drive with our SeaTools for Windows diagnostic utility:

Should the drive require replacement, you can register it here for an RMA.
