Barracuda XT, Barracuda, Barracuda Green, DiamondMax and other desktop SATA and IDE drives

Purchased a 1TB Expander for my Motorola STB. The model number is a ST31000424CS which should make it a Pipeline drive. However I can find no reference to this drive anywhere.  As far as I know Segate makes 2 1 TB Pipeline drines: one is a 5900 rpmversion, while the other is a 7200 rpm version with more cache but neither are a 424cs.  The drive wworks fine bit I can't open the external enclosure without trashing it  Can anyone, especially a Segate tech let me know if it is a 5900 or 7200 rpm. Thanks
