Can I set up my Backup Plus for Mac desktop to mirror my external hard drive?

I am trying to set up a back up that would be a duplicate of my current external hard drive that I use for Final Cut Pro X. Is there a way to do this with the Backup Plus for Mac desktop? Also, will it affect Final Cut Pro X in any way, if I should need to make it my primary hard dirve? I want to be able to view it just as it appears on the current external hard drive without encryption or needing to use special software to view or restore.

Thanks!

You would just need to do this:

1) Open two windows - one for the other external drive, one for the Backup Plus drive.

2) Move them so that they are both visible, each taking up one half the screen.

3) Select everything in the other external drive. Drag it to the Backup Plus drive, and then let go.

It will move all the data over to the other.
