Seagate Slim Portable Drive Automatically Spindown

Hi am looking for the software that i can setup my seagate slim drive to stop automatically spindown after a set number of minutes of inactivity there was a tool to download on the seagate site some time back that i used befor but i cant find it on the site now to set the drive to never spindown after a set number of minutes of inactivity can anyone help me out i realy need the drive to stop automatically spindown after a set number of minutes of inactivity

The tool you're referring to is only for certain drives, and not this Backup Plus drive.

 

Two things:

1) Please set the drive to never sleep in the Dashboard software.

2) Check the operating stystem power settings. If you're not sure how, please let me know what the OS you're using is.
