Hello, I need to reset my network to a NAS. Before I just used to go through a pc.
I need to delete the "my_shortcuts"
and the "workgroup".
Factory defaulting isn't doing anything there.
Can someone point me to a turtorial in this forum?
I can't seem to find anything myself.
There used to be a very simple tutorial on setting up
the my_shortcuts for networks.

To delete a shortcut;
1. On the Home screen, select Network from the list of device shortcuts, then press OK.
2. Select My_Shortcuts, then press OK.
3. Press Information ( i ) button on remote .
4. Select Delete, then press OK.
5. When prompted, press OK again to save the new information or delete the shortcut.
The GoFlex TV has disappeared from the Seagate.com web page Menus (it used to be under Home Entertainment) as it ihas been phased out, but info is still accessible here http://www.seagate.com/au/en/support/home-entertai

Here's the GoFlex TV - Creating Shortcuts to Content on Networked Devices page from the link I posted before (under How To's)
What exactly are you having trouble with?

Yes, that's what I was looking for. I now have it copied. Thanks. I have transferred my movies and tv shows to a NAS. things worked for a while but now don't. I am trying to fix this. I am working on verifying my IPs.

I would advise you to use static IP addresses for both your NAS and your media player. You can assign these either through the individual devices, or through your router. The Seagate players have difficulty "locating" network devices if they were handed a different IP from the DHCP server.
