Seagate Freeagent Dockstar will not connect to network. Light stays solid Amber. Please Help!

I just got a new freeagent Dockstar and I cannot get it to connect to my network.  The light blinks green then changes to blinking amber then stays solid amber.  I tried it on a friends network and it worked fine.  Do I need to change a setting in my router or is my router not compatible? I am using a Linksys WRT54G router with Hughesnet.

Check you router and see if it is set for dhcp and if e dockstar is listed in the local network. Also search the internet for more help.
