Win7, 64 bit.Seagate Manager 2.2.50, FreeAgent part #97E7AG-500, GoFlex part #9ZQAY6-500
I've had a FreeAgent XTreme 1TB running well with Seagate Manager. Yesterday, once I added a GoFlex Desk 2TB the following problems showed up:
I tried the following steps:
The only way I can use these drives is one at a time and that's by turning off the PC, unplugging the drives, restarting the PC, and plugging in the drives after logging on. The FreeAgent will not show up on its own if I just remove the GoFlex and restart without also removing the FreeAgent.
Once the GoFlex was fully removed the "lost" files from the FreeAgent reappeared in Windows Explorer
Is there a solution for this or can the Seagate drives and software not play nice with each other?

It's a big surprise that "Win7, 64 bit" is NOT listed under "PC Requirements" of Seagate specs. for the "FreeAgent Xtreme":

Even though your "FreeAgent XTreme 1TB running well with Seagate Manager", that's something to consider when you experience problems possibly caused by incompatible software.
Another way to work around is to uninstall the existing "Seagate Manager" and install the bundled software for the "GoFlex Desk 2TB". Again, make sure that this bundled software works with "Win7, 64 bit" as shown:

Hope this helps.
