[Please HELP] Free Agent Go 500GB USB drive problem

Hi,

 

My Free Agent Go 500GB external USB drive is not getting detected all of a sudden.

I have tried connecting that to laptop (running Windows Vista) and PC (running Windows XP) but it is not getting detected.

 

Next, I installed Seatools and ran the Short & Long Generic Tests. There are errors.

Now, when I run the Long Generic Test by selecting Repair "All" option, it is failing.

Please advise what should I do now?

I badly need the data in my disk, also as windows is not detecting my disk, I'm not able to run a checkdisk on the drive.

Please advise.

If the drive is no longer detected, take a look at this external drive troubleshooter to see if it helps resolve it:
