"Does the GoFlex work with the new iPad? I've read a review in the App Store that it doesn't. But that's just one user so I'd like to know. Plus, I watched the GoFlex Satellite getting started video and it says that everytime I make a movie purchase from the iTunes store I have to sync these purchases to my iPad. So what's the use of the product, if I'll have to sync these purchases and fill up my iPad with them? Do I sync and then delete so that the iPad knows that it's ok to stream them. I need someone to clarify this for me as I didn't understand that part of the "getting started" video." ****** I just got an iPad 3 64 GB 4G, and it is working with my Satellite. You need to sync the iPad, to your iTunes, I believe. In the sync process the info gets transferred (I'm pretty sure I've played movies on my new iPad that have never been download to my iPad directly). Certainly they don't need to remain on the iPad. The getting started video is old, and has not been updated. It is certainly unclear to me as well. I know that I can at this moment play videos that I purchased from iTunes that are not currently on my iPad. hope that helps.
