The Client software is listed as being for a OS 10. The Mac user guide may be helpful. The Central Axis needs to be plugged into a network Switch or Hub not into your Mac with a USB cable. You should be able to access the drive for data storage and administration by using the IP address.
I'm not a MAC person so I could be wrong.
