No documentation for Quantum or Maxtor drives? @#$&!!!!

[ Edited ]
Ok, why did that have to happen? I need the technical docs - at least a single page of specifications would help - on a Quantum Viking PX09L011 SCSI LVD drive. The Seagate web site says at:

Link

"you can find all your Quantum and Maxtor documents here!" - and points you to a non existent URL at maxtor.com:

http://www.maxtor.com/en/support/products/archive.htm

The only documentation covering Quantum drives on the Seagate site is a single, "generic" manual covering "all" ATA and SCSI drives:

http://seagate.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/seagate.cfg/php/enduser/stx_adp.php?p_faqid=4994&p_sid=V1c4gvaj&p_lva=3569

Problem is that does not cover all drives, it leaves off circa 1997.

Are these documents available <<<anywhere>>>? Or did someone just forget to take the drive docs with when they took over the Quantum>Maxtor drive division?

Really annoyed...

I understand your frustration, actually.  That is the responsibility of a department here that has not taken that task seriously at all, so much of that documentation, especially legacy stuff, has been left undone.

PM me and tell me exactly what you're looking for and I'll see what I can come up with.
