I confirm SD15 firmware also have issues. Today two drives died, out of four. They aren't recognized by BIOS anymore, I read on forum is like a timeout issue. I hope Seagate send me asap a firmware to update the drives to "revive" them. Fernando

After I rebooted the computer, the drive was never recognized anymore. Is a SD15 firmware issue for sure, I tried everything and couldn't get to be recognized by BIOS anymore. If isn't possible to re-flash a drive without BIOS, I'm just doomed, and will need to RMA all my drives (four them), to the things be worst, I just did an order couple days ago for more two (1TB) Seagate drives, and they're already on the way. And it seems they also have the same issue. If I cannot fix them with newer firmware, I'll give up on Seagate products. Well, I see isn't possible to re-flash if the drive isn't recognized anymore by BIOS (sigh). I'll RMA them. Anyway, I still want to receive an updated firmware since I have two of them still working, but will die very soon indue SD15 fimware issues. Fernando
