Bought 3T drive for MAC - Only 2T available to use. Is this correct????

If this is the case then I am returning the drive.

It would be very helpful if you could post a screenshot of how the drive shows in Disk Utility. There's a possibility that the drive was formatted in a way that doesn't allow the full capacity to be accessed and the mentioned screenshot would help us in determining that.
