Can't rename Backup Plus for Mac

Just bought a Backup Plus fro my Macbook Pro i7. Icon appears with the name Seagate Backup Plus Drive. I CAN"T CHANGE THE NAME. Why? I've downloaded around 70+gb already, so i guess the drive works fine. But how do i change the name? Thanks.
