Backup Plus and Seagate Slim

Hello:

    I recently purchased the 3 TB Backup Plus for Mac Desktop Drive Model #SRDOSD0  and

a Thunderbold Adapter GoFLex Desktop Adapter Thunderbolt Model #STAE122

   However, I can't figure out how to connect the two.

How do I connect them?

They should work just fine together.
Remove the Firewire / USB adapter from the Backup Plus for Mac, then connect the Thunderbolt adapter as shown in the printed quick start guide.

That looks good and that is what the pictures show. But there is no port or hole on the bottom to connect to that

unless I am supposed to open it somehow?

Figured it outl.  The bottom comes off.
