How will "Backup Plus Portable" HD take back up of 2 systems simultaneously?

If I want to take the backup of two different laptops and I want to use the Auto backup option.
So, how will it do the backup?
Suppose I connect my HD to Laptop 1. So, it will  create the same folder structure. Now, if I connect my HD to another laptop say Laptop 2, it will replace the pre- existing folder structure and make it for the second laptop.
How will it take the back up of 2 laptops simultaneously?

It will keep the backed up data in two separate folders that are named after the computer.
