Incremental backups not happening

We bought two of these drives.  On the first Win 7 computer, the first backup happened 6 days ago, but no incremental backups since.  I checked and it is set to backup continuously.  I tired backup now - multiple times - but each time it gets stuck at around 7-8% done continuously.  I did update the Seagate dashboard to the newest version.

On the other drive on Win XP, it seem to be losing connectivity when the computer goes to sleep.  The Win 7 computer never sleeps.

Re: Incremental backups not happening

I also just bought and installed the Seagate Backup Plus drive on a Windows 7 computer. I made sure that the settings are to backup everything but system files continuously. It completed the initial Backup without any problems, but when I changed one of the backed up documents on the computer, it did not do the continuous backup and change that document on the Seagate Backup Plus.  What am I doing wrong?  Why isn't this working?

Re: Incremental backups not happening

I'd like to ask you, please, to uninstall it and then reinstall the software from the download.

Please let me know.

Re: Incremental backups not happening

Hi. I am having the same problem with no continuous backups being done. I reinstalled and downloaded the dashboard per your recommendation but still not working. How can I fix this?

Thanks

Hmmm, I'm really sorry to say this, but I think probably your best bet is to contact Customer Service directly whether by phone, email, or chat.

I apologise I can't help here.
