Re: error 1920

Hi all... was having a problem installing the dashboard 2.0 that came with my 3TB backup plus drive, i had contacted customer support and got responses from them on what they are doing to try a solve the many problems people are having with the dashboard install. a few emails later, have been waiting the last couple of days for a response.. so i started to tinker around. I am running windows xp pro 32-bit  and had tweaked some of the services to not start up and so on. so thinking that something i tweaked may be the problem i reset all the services back to their default status(auto, manual, disabled) and low an behold the software installed properly and it appears to be working, didn't have the time to do a backup yet but thought i would share that with everyone else. so it is something to try if you are having problems and getting the error 1920  privileges message. just do a google search of "default xp services" without the quotes. i found a list in a forum that i forgot to bookmark so look around you'll find it. hope that helps....
