Asus Sabertooth P67 (don't know exact model #). As far I can tell the only HD related utility I have installed is that Intel Rapid Storage Technology though I have never once used it. When I had the drive it was just plugged into a Sata port, and was not set up in a RAID or anything like that.

As my Video I have 2 x STBD3000100's in a Ready Nas Duo V2. I am unsure what the OS would be. I am using Raid 1.
The only thing I have tried is checking I'm using the lastest firmware.
Both HDD's make the same sound when plugged into my PC via Sata or a USB adaptor I have.
Turning off APM is not an option in my NAS.
My main concern is HDD failure. Plus I'm getting twice the chirping with 2 of them..

I can confirm that disabling APM using CrystalDiskInfo has resolved the chirping issue with my drive.
As for what board I'm using, it's an ASUS P8P67 which is identical to the one you posted however mine is just P8P67 and not P8P67-M

Asus Sabertooth Z77 w/ i5-2500k 16GB ram. Windows 7 Ultimate x64
SATA device config / mapping
2 SSD drives connected to Intel RST ports 0, 1 (6Gb/s)
2 x ST2000DM001 connected to Intel RST 3Gb/s ports 2, 3 (configured Raid 0)
Intel RST port 4 empty
LG BD burner connected to Intel RST port 5
1 x ST2000DM001 connected to AsMedia 6Gb/s port 0 (no raid) (AHCI mode)
Unable to disable APM on my HDD's since they are in RAID config.
Only MB utilities installed are the ones to control / monitor PWM fans and onboard temperatures. No other MB junk tools installed.
