The partition results

Full report to come after Xmas 2011 where I will write up what I think of this drive, which at this time would read very impressed, you'll notice the com error in pic one, this hasn't changed since I last posted pics so I think it was either a loose or bad cable that did this, until I do a format of the drive though that figure isn't going away in the program.
Seagate 3TB Barracuda results Rig is Intel Q6600 3GB/s Gigabyte 775 board, 8GB CL7 Ram Antec 900 Case OCZ 600w PSU, NO O/C

Thank you also, it's very nice to hear those words.
Look back some time around April and I should have done testing @ 6 GB/s and as a slave to an SSD hopefully if funds allow me a new board and processor.

UPDATED TO USE ON UEFi BIOS WITH O/S
Ok that time arrived to wipe and go again, in this post I have set it up on my new rig.
i5 2500K
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P
MSi 560Ti
8GB GSkill C7 DDR3
If you can't see the data, copy the picture and open it on your PC.
Now before I post the screens this install is gone now as I wanted to use the drive as a storage drive from now on, another thing to note is although my new set up supports 6GB/s the drive I have doesn't so there will be no speed screens to show as it's still sata 2, so if you have CC43 as your FW on a 3TB chances are the 6GB/s is locked out on your drive also, SO WHEN BUYING CHECK THE LABEL SAYS 6GB/s, if it doesn't it will probably be a 3TB version.
Anyway the Windows install took around 15 minutes from inserting the set up disk to getting the welcome screen.
Here's the process for setting up an O/S on an EFi bios enabled board.
Boot to bios and set EFi option to either EFi or Auto, save and exit.
Boot your O/S set up disk.
Delete any partitions until you see one 2700GB one.
Install Windows
Load motherboard drivers
Load Graphic card drivers
Install RST & Console if it's Intel
Install Inf update, also found at Intel downloads
Re-boot and you should look like this below.

UPDATED USING AS STORAGE DRIVE WITHOUT O/S
Ok here's what it looks like as a back up drive to a main drive, again enable your EFi in the bios and simply perform a format in NTFS and this is what it should look like, if you hit recognition problems try NOT assigning a drive letter, or remove one if you already have.
If you can't see the data, copy the picture and open it on your PC.

Thank you for including the screen shots, and not just a bunch of text, for those who aren't as computer literate.
