4 hard disks giving me headache.

[ Edited ]

Hello all, this is my first post here. I own 4 seagate hard disks. 2 IDE and 2 SATA. My motherboard is Intel DG35EC, 1 IDE HDD became dysfunctional when I connected it along with optical drive and after some time it started making clanking noise and stopped booting and working. I don't know if it is a compatability issue with the motherboard or something else, because it was working fine with the old motherboard and it gave a lot of problems with the new motherboard even getting identified. Another 500GB SATA has some problems with spin up according to S.M.A.R.T, I feel this is causing stuttering problem with my video and audio playback. My main OS is on an 80GB SATA hard disk, according to Harddisk sential, all the remaining HDDs have some health issues and it shows they have only less than 10 days before they expire. Please tell me how seriously should I take this report, can I do something to revive the damaged HDD and how can I resove the 500GB SATA drive's spin up problem as a lot of things important to me are on it. Thanks
