Barracuda 320 Gb Gone Bad

I have a Barracuda 7200.10 (320Gb) (ST3320620AS) Hard Drive . Recently while working , windows notified that the hard drive has been removed (Delayed Write Failure Balloon) . I immediately shut my PC down and checked the connections and found them to be fine . After booting the PC . I found that the hard drive did not power up . I isolated the hard drive power supply which didnt work . On closely examining the drive i found that a component on the circuit board had leaked some green fluid . My drive is still under warranty and i wanted to know if my drive is Still covered or the warranty has been void ... PLEASE HELP ..... I run two 80 gb barracuda's in RAID 0 and Had the 320 Gb in JBOD Configuration ... Inder.

Re: Barracuda 320 Gb Gone Bad

well i dont know if there is much help to be given, honestly

if a drive is physically damaged and doesnt work, its probably toast.

just replace it since its under warranty
