I got a urgent problem. Ive got this disc for a while.

Everything worked well untill I recently shat down my computer.

The BIOS wont find the disc now.

Ive tried to put it in another sata-port, even tried to plug it in via usb. But the disc isnt found.

Ive even had it in the freezer for an hour just to cool down.

I really need to get it to start, atleast once, so I can backup everything.

SD15 firmware is afflicted by the 7200.11 BSY bug. In such cases Seagate offers free data recovery.

Otherwise there is a cheap and relatively easy DIY fix.

My disk still in warranty and i need to recover my files.
