Bugs in 2.5" 5400.5 HD as well?

I have a Momentus 5400.5 ST9320320AS installed in Sony PS3.

It also suffers from on and off detection error in start up same as the recent blunder of 7200.11.

Can it be solved by a firmware upgrade?
