Do I require new firmware for the my HDD ST3320620AS

I have seagates 7200.10 hdd with following specifications:

S/N : 5QF6RZ8F

P/N : 9BJ14G-308

ST3320620AS

Firmware : 3.AAK

site code: WU

This hdd crashes when it has been run for more than 12 hours. Then I have to do short & long dst via seatools for dos to make it start working. It now has 133 bad sectors (as shown by ubuntu disk utility).

Do I require to update the HDD firmware? If so from where do I get it.

There is an unofficial 3.AAM firmware update that addresses a performance related bug:

However, your HD's problem appears to be a physical one. :-(

I have upgraded the firmware previously to 3.AAM but the bug/problem still exists.
