Firmware for Maxtor 6L300RO

Hi guys,

New here. Here is my story. I updated the BIOS for my mobo and after the reboot, I get a error message. I think the new BIOS update  does not recognize the HDD, but the thing is it shows in the BIOS. No matter what I do, I still get the Disk Error message. Another problem is that I cannot find the firmware update for this outdated HDD (Maxtor 6L300RO) in Seagate website.

 

I appreciate any help from you.

 

PS: the computer was working very fine before I updated the BIOS.

What error message do you get after the reboot? So that we can provide you with help on this, please give us the exact wording.

 

There are no firmware updates available for ATA drives.
