My Seagate ST3400620a Shuts Off After A Few Minutes

I'm trying to use my Seagate ST3400620a on my router to share it in my network. The problem is it turns off after like 15 minutes and can't be recognized anymore. Can this feature be shut off? If not is there a work around for this issue? Thank you

Hello,

Not sure if this will help, but about all you can try is to connect the drive to the computer directly to use the Operating System Power Management. Set the drive to never sleep, and then reconnect the drive to your router.  It is outside of traditional support, but maybe that will help. You may also want to check with your router manufacturer to see if they have have any power settings.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
