New computer using oem drive

Which software should I use to format an o.e.m. drive for a new system build.. I haven't done this before so could use a little help. Mike

Download MaxBlast from this web site. Create a boot cd with it and all is well.  Makes it very simple.  Just follow instructions.  Or if your installing XP you can just let windows take care of that for you.  Don't know about vista...  Just insert your xp cd and follow along...

Vista will format the drive on a fresh install just like Windows XP does.  Paul Thurrott has a really good site, Supersite for Windows, that has screen caps on how to format the drive during the Windows Install whether it's Windows XP or Vista.
