unfortunatelly on my ST31000340AS new firmware does not solve the problems. earlier version of SD1A worked better in terms of "clicks and strange sounds". Actually this solves problem of interrupting transfers but clisk remain and ata shows zero features (windows manager won't allow to enable cache)
