They did the same thing, switched flash util to v4.57.
Flashed my 3 500GB drives but are still dead ![]()
What model have you flashed? I'm waiting for positive 3500320AS flashes.

Model ST31000340AS PART# 9BX158-303 ... iT WORKED FINE NO ERRORS AND FIRMWARE NOW STATES I HAVE SD1A NO MORE SD15..

Did you have to format your pc after the firmware update?

No I did not have to format at all.. I just powered down and rebooted and everything is fine. My computer is now slightly faster then before. Im running some test to check it all out , but so far great nothing failing. Hope it works for everyone else.

mine just failed... update went well, powered down, even turn the powersuply switch off then restarted computer and it say Drive error at bios
