Got a warning message from windows 7 about a hard drive problem. Ran a test with Seatools and got the smart fail test code below. What does the code mean? Is it worth trying to repair the drive using Seatools for DOS? The drive is still under warranty.
--------------- SeaTools for Windows v1.2.0.5 ---------------

Is it the windows hardware monitor that is saying the drive is on borrowed time? if it is back it up and open an RMA, you may want to run it though Sentinal as well to confirm, but I suspect you will have many bad sector's and a health rating of around 20% max.

There's a problem with Seatools for Windows and Nvidia's IDE SW driver. Removing it may help (if your hard drive is in fact not actually going bad)
You can see the full story here:

Removing the driver solved the problem for me and Seatools for Windows would correctly report SMART pass after that.
