Sometimes my Barracuda 7200.14 (ST1000DM003) start to make a continuous noise like a grasshopper.
After some time of persistent noise (one hour or two) stops and remains silent for several hours.
This can be a sort of calibration or power management?
The firmware is CC4H and SeaTools for Windows does not detect any error.
I see only two suspect SMART values:
*** Read Error Rate ***
Current: 117
Worst: 100
Threshold: 6
Raw: 0000092ABEF8
*** Seek Error Rate ***
Current: 66
Worst: 60
Threshold: 30
Raw: 00000042FEBC
Thanks!

I've found the coding scheme of raw values.
The read and seek SMART values are Ok.
But the drive continue to make this boring sound.
