Your motherboard is the same which i have. i'm disappointed about this thing and I think that Seagate should fix it soon.
I've tested my motherboard with a Western Digital Green Caviar 2T and it work like a charm.
If they know the problem since 2010, they should write on their web site which this drive could not work on some motherboard which have some specifications.
If there is not any solution for this problem, I'll do not buy more Seagate products in the future, because this problem is frustrating.
An unhappy customer is not a good advertising for them.
