ST332062 Formatting Issue

Okay, so I attempted to format my old ST332062 into FAT32 (using cmd), and I learned the hard way that FAT32 can only go up to 32 gigs.  Unfortunately for me, my HDD is 288 gigs.  This is a problem.  Anyway, I've tried FAT32Format, I've tried Testdisk, I've tried PC Inspector File Recovery, I've tried reformatting into NTFS... nothing returns the HDD to 288 gigs.  It seems locked forever at 32 gigs and I'm pretty much stumped at how to fix this issue.  Any help you all can give me is greatly appreciated! :smileyhappy:

Re: ST332062 Formatting Issue

Assuming the BIOS recognises the full capacity of the drive, then you should be able to delete all existing partitions in Disk Management.

The following KB article explains how to use DiscWizard to create a full sized FAT32 partition:

If the BIOS is only seeing 32GB, then you have a different issue. Let us know if this is the case.
