Ok, it was a pain setting this up... seagate tools for windows wouldnt recognize it with the nforce4 sata drivers, had to switch to plain jane microsoft vista ones. My wonder is, why do I have 3 primary partitions and the rest are logical? I set up one whole drive primary (I do have an ide drive as my primary boot for vista) since thats all it would let me set since sata are masters. then I tried to set up logical drives, but the first 2 outside of the primary, were also primary, then after that the became logical.... my setup is ,1 ide drive boot with vista and 3 logical, 2: one ide drive in two logical parts for data, 3: new seagate sata that sets up as 3 primary partitions and 3 logical. My question is why the 3 primary partitions?
