Dear friends,
checking at the serial numbers utility, the drive in subject is said to be one with available firmware download.
I downloaded both exe updater and iso image.
I tried both of them. Any of them reports available matching model but no firmware update.
I suppose because the page where I'm redirected for download is this
http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/
and no SD45 fw is listed
Well
Thank you if you post a good firmware updater link where to download from the correct one.
Kind regards
Robert

Dear friends, this issue is solved.
I discovered that the update utility (the windows exe application for firmware upgrading) that is provided for the ST3750330AS, it is not recognizing the drive and for this reason the drive is skipped for the update.
At the first attemp I tried both the exe and the iso with the same result (no upgrade happen), but I made some mistake and I suppose I downloaded the iso from the wrong link (they are one next the other in the download page).
Anyway, for a bad luck case, I did something wrong with the ISO utility (bootable cd for firmware update).
Retrying the ISO, doublechecking which one I was downloding, finally worked fine.
BEWARE: from this link http://seagate.custkb.com/seagate/crm/selfservice/
Thank you for the help.
Kind regards

Thank you for the technical reasons, which are confirming what I said: windows updater doesn't update, while iso does.
For you to know, obviously I tested the drive and it does work.
Kind regards
Ciao
Robert
