I agree with you, the response is very pore! I just update my 1,5tb drive succesfully, BUT. The drive still freeze and win XP locks when I try to install a image/ISO mounted from that disc drive (no problem with all my other WD drives). The image issue has been the problem for me all along, so I guess I have to rely on yet a new FW to solve this.

Unfortunately, I'v got no response on my case what so ever from Seagate.

I asked Seagate support question 3 weeks ago - no reply

Another 3 days ago about the upgrde - also no reply .
