Transfer data from a Seagate Barracuda ES HD

Hello - could be a dumb question that shows how little I know, but I will ask.  PC  died, took out the Seagate Barracuda ES

ST3320820NS HD.  Is there any way to transfer the data to a Mac (OS X 10.8)?  The HD has  SATA  and a Molex latching signal cable assembly outputs.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thank-you in advance.

Re: Transfer data from a Seagate Barracuda ES HD

If your drive came out of a Windows box, then its file system(s) will be either FAT32 or NTFS. Mac OS is able to read and write a FAT32 partition, but an NTFS volume will be readonly. Basically this means that you should have no problem reading your data on a Mac. I'm assuming that your drive is set up with an MBR rather than a GPT, but I'm not a Mac user, so I don't know if this makes any difference.

Thank-you for the reply.  I didn't ask the question completely - I have the HD out of the PC, is there any way to 'hook' that HD to my Mac?  Are there SATA and Molex cables available that I can connect to the HD and into a USB poirt in my Mac?

Install the drive in a 3.5" USB-SATA enclosure.
