Hi,

I have 2 identical systems except of the harddrives, that i tought would not have an impact here.

If i load the clone on the first setup with my ST3250620AS, its  a 250GB Barracuda 7200.10 with firmware 3.CHL. It works.

Then.

If i load the clone on the second setup with my ST3500630AS, its a 500GB Barracuda 7200.10 with firmware 3.CHN. It does not work! I get the error message when windows 2000 load alomst at chaning display and showing loginpromt, bluescreen: 0x0000007B INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE.

Ive tried to switch disk, from the first to the second and vice versa. The problem stays with the disk and the other system would fail.

I have 20 machines with both setup, and the later setup fails on all so its not just for this one. Its on everyone.

What do you think the problem is?

Can you copy the data to the drive and not the partition information using that software?

Thanks for responing to my message.

No i cant just copy the the data (not from the dos-enviroment tool that i use). It restores the whole image as it was built, including partitioninformation.
