Windows Management Pops "incorrect function" when initilizating Seagate 3T

First, my Vista and Windows 7 shows a single 746G disk on Windows Disk Management, so I tried to format it any way.

 

But it failed, then Windows Management  Pops "incorrect function" . I have no clue how to resolve it.

Same for me with Vista... *another* reason I was thinking to upgrade to Windows 7, but if its the same with that too then that won't help. A really frustrating one this! :smileyfrustrated:

Resolved by connecting to a new model of hard disk dock.
