discwizard stared disk for deleted harddrive

i cant locate the starter disk on the site ive found discwizard that ive down loaded on my labtop when i look at the file it look like it was for a harddrive that had a operating system i downloaded the manual for my harddrive it is ST3400A IT SAID TO DOWNLOAD THE STARUPDISK for new drive my harddrive cannot locate operating system so i use seatools and delete it just incase the windows 2000 that was on it was gone no i think i just deleted the 0 sector not all the harddrive any way it can"t located the os and i dont have a 2000 disk to reload the os which i dont no if it would work  thanks for any info on this hard drive.

yeah you need a windows 2000 or some other OS CD to make the drive work
 
i think discwizard has changed  it's all new now so dont worry about using it.  just get a windows CD, which you would need anyway even with an old discwizard
