I've got no power on the circutboard side of a Barracuda 7200 drive right off the 4 pin power connector--I do have power on the connector (12v/5v). I'm assuming that this means there is a short on the circutboard(the drive was not making any noise before failure)
I was wondering if it is possible to replace the board on the harddrive as my daughter has some important stuff to her on the drive but it's not important enough to me to spend alot of money on . Any help would be welcomed.
